Open Positions
The Reading Brains Lab is an undergraduate student lab. We are also open to working with teachers interested in reading-related research. If you are looking for a graduate student or post-doctoral position, you may be interested in other labs in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth.
Volunteers
If you would like to volunteer as a research assistant in the Reading Brains Lab, please contact us. We are happy to consider requests from interested students and teachers who can commit to working with us for at least two consecutive terms.
Paid Undergraduate Research Assistants
Dartmouth students interested in becoming a part-time paid research assistant in the Reading Brains Lab should search for the JobX posting and contact Professor Coch with questions. RA positions require at least a two-term (consecutive) commitment.

Presidential Scholars
If you are eligible for the Presidential Scholars Program, please see the description of the project in the Reading Brains Lab in the Undergraduate Research Office's on-line database of faculty research projects and schedule an interview with Professor Coch. Dartmouth Early Research Access in the Sciences (ERAS) Program
We are involved in the ERAS Program. If you are a first-year student at Dartmouth who is interested in science and the connections among brain science, reading, and education, consider becoming an intern in the Reading Brains Lab through participation in the ERAS program.

Undergraduate Research Assistantships at Dartmouth
We are involved in the Undergraduate Research Assistantships at Dartmouth (URAD) Program. Through this program, students may apply for a paid research assistant position to work in a lab for 100 hours per term for up to a total of 5 terms. Please contact Professor Coch to discuss becoming a URAD Scholar in the Reading Brains Lab. Applications are typically due to UGAR in Week 9 of the term immediately before the intended research term.

The Reading Brains Lab is in the process of shifting to a new ERP recording and analysis system. We will be looking to grow again once everything is in place.
